Happy Halloween

we all had a great time this year on Halloween!!!

this was the first skirt I made her. that night when I got home I had to sew her a new skirt because this one fell apart....

( this one was too tight on her little legs so when she sat down it ran - like pantyhose- not very pretty)

I am still working on my costume but everyone elses is done ( the kiddos costumes have been done for a while now, Jonah and mine started just this week)

St. George continued......

so after we went to the wilderness museum we went to a dinasour track museum- it was neat to see actual dinosaur tracks- Mara wasn't that interested by it.



well then it was off to find this lake that Jonah wanted to see, he had heard that there was sand dunes really close to the lake. well when we found it we were a bit suprised-- the sand dunes were not just close by but right next to the lake. Jonah was thrilled:)

wilderness museum

this past weekend we went down to St. George. we had a great time:)

we went to this great wilderness Museum, all of the animals in the museum were either donated from zoo's or different wildlife organizations - the animals died from natural causes.

this is a quote that I first heard from my sweet sister Audrey Lynn.
Mara thought the animals were great- though she did get a little scared when the bears"growled" on the overhead speaker. the scary bear

Last Thursday, Annie, Danny, Melia, Sophie, and my dad met us ( Jonah, Mara, Jackson and myself) at the swimming pool. we had a great time.

Melia was not feeling well so she really didn't have the best time but I am sure that she and Mara were very happy to be able to see each other. ( that is why there are no pictures of Melia) I was quite happy to see Annie and her cute little family.

LAGOON!!!!

For the 24th, we went to the KOA next to Lagoon, we stayed that night camping with Bobby, Ang and Weston. While the guys cooked dinner Ang and I took the kids on a bike ride, when we got back we ate some dinner, then watched Fireworks at lagoon- I think it was the best Finale I have ever seen!!!

The next day we went over to Lagoon for a very long and fun filled day!!! The kids had the great time together, they are such good friends. We even had their pictures taken from the Good Old West, they were very excited to be dressing up-- I will scan the picture in as soon as I can:)

Our 7th Wedding Anniversary

Last Monday (July 14th) was our anniversary. I can't believe that we have been married for 7 years. I am so happy to have such a great guy.

In honor of 7 years of "BLISSFUL" marriage,
here are my top 7 reasons why I love my Hubby...

7- He makes me laugh everyday- he still is goofy and young at heart after all of these years

6- He has an amazing body

5-He is an amazing Dad- he is Mr. MOM, he watches both Jackson and Mara during the day while I am at work, and doesn't complain that much.

4-He is such a hard worker and a great provider to me and our kids- I hope that Mara and Jackson will go up and take after him

3-He tells me that he loves me, even when he shouldn't :)- when I am being not the nicest , he still loves me

2-He is my Best Friend- We have known each other since High School ( Junior year ) 12 years

1-He has helped me bring two cute kids into this world:)

Father's Day

Sunday was a great lazy day. Jonah worked late- he got home at 5:30 a.m. then went to sleep.


Mara woke up at 8:30 so Jackson and I got up with Mara.

Mara then played in her pool for the next few hours.

she was COVERED in sunblock, since she is fair skinned and burns very easily.

when Jonah woke up he opened his presents which were a drumel and a nice shop vac. what great presents:)

My Mothers Day Suprise!!!

First off I am so blessed to have my two sweet babies, and I have a husband that I completely love and admire.

I am so lucky to have Jackson and Mara- I am greatful for this everyday!!

I recieve a Mother's Day present this year.



This is the first year I recieved a present for Mother's Day ( well from someone else besides myself)



2004- I bought myself a rocking chair - that I repainted in preperations for my little Mara to be born

2005- flowers for my yard ( just a little late) Audrey and I went on a plant shopping spree -- I needed to finally do my yard- we were going to sell the house

2006-I bought myself something I can't remember- I think it was clothes or something

2007- a yard/beach canopy

2008-

Jonah bought me a new wedding ring, since I lost my ring in October. It looks very close to my mom's wedding ring that Annie has now.
