okay so I am telling Mara that her outfits are always so "cool" ( they are little, um strange) ! so I decided to make her into Punky Bruster!!!

the DI

so on Saturday Mara, Jackson and I went to our good ole' DI-- Jonah was sleeping so we decided we wanted to go and see if we could find anything good, and boy did we............

I paid $5.00 for this beauty:)

Mara decided to change once we got home-- awesome outfit, huh?yes, those are Cherrio's I wanted to see if it worked- and yes it did:)

I have no idea what I am going to do with it but hey $5.00

my sick baby

So last week, when we got home from Georgia, Jackson got sick! well he started getting sick a tthe end of our stay but it really set in on Monday, Tuesday I took him in to the doctor and found out that my little boy had an ear infection, a eye infection, and a slight sinus infection. this poor little guy and his infections.....

So he has been on a new antibiotic and an eye drop. I think he is feeling a little better but he still is not back 100%

He still just wants to be held, he usually just falls asleep within the first few minutes of being held- it is quite sad. I haven't been able to get much done cause he just wakes up as soon as I put him down and then cries untilI pick him up again:(

Jackson has been on an antibiotic for over 4 months straight and has another 2-3 weeks left until we go back to the doctor.

Georgia!!!!!

This past weekend Jonah, Me, Mara and Jackson flew to Georgia! We all had a great time.

We left here at 2:00 and got into Georgia by 7:40--- we then proceeded to walk to the baggage gate ( one of my bags that I checked at the gate was sent to the baggage claim) 4000 feet. Jonah decided that it would be good for us to walk it instead of taking the subway ( the airport is that big)

well we finally go to the baggage claim got my bag and proceeded to go to the car rental bus ( which took us a little while since we went the wrong way first)

we finally got the Heather and Paul's house at 10:00 -- it was a long night

Friday morning we got up and went over to Paul's office, he did two root canals on me-- boy is he fast and good!!! thanks Paul!!

After the kids got home from school we just hung out and let the kids play. Mara and CC played witches the ENTIRE time! it was quite cute.

That night we had some yummy Pizza and watched the girls dance. the boys ( Jonah, Dallin, Andrew, and even Paul) played video games and watched football - very exciting

Saturday morning we got up and drove over to the Lake House- wow that house is gorgeous!!!

there is a funny story about this carpet-- maybe Heather should tell about it-:) after seeing the house the guys ( Jonah and Paul) went to the land and played on four wheelers- Heather and I took the kids over to a yummy cafe and ate some lunch--

we then went back to Heather and Paul's house so they could get ready for the CELINE DEON concert- we watched the kids that night.

Jonah and I aren't the coolest babysitters-- we made the kids clean their rooms! - I know we are not very fun, but they needed to do it:)

Sunday - the Shepherds went to church, and we slept! well Jonah did he slept until 11:30

we decided that since we were in Georgia we needed to go to a southern "staple" chain restaurant- THE WAFFLE HOUSE-- it was fine not that great but not bad either.

Sunday mostly we just hung out together- it was great.

Monday morning 3:30 a.m.( 1:30 a.m. Utah time) we woke up and got ready to leave for the airport. we got on our flight and were home ( Utah) by 9:00 a.m.

Jonah slept the rest of the day well until he had to go to work ( 3:40)

we are Georgia bound!- well almost

On Thursday, we are flying to McDonough Georgia!! we are all so excited to be able to see Heather and her cute little family. we are going to be there until Monday morning.

Jonah is even coming! I didn't think that Jonah would be coming with us ( me and the kids) but he is and I couldn't be happier:)

On Friday, Jackson finally decided that he was now ready to crawl, YIPPEE!!!!

Barbie Sleepover

Mara and Melia had their Sleepover finally!!

They have been trying to get together to have this sleepover for a year now.

On Saturday I watched Melia, Sophie, ( Annie and Danny's) Sammy, Gavin, and Dawson ( Shannon and Jeff's) and my own two- while my dad, Annie, Danny, Shannon, and Jeff went skiing. it was FUN!! Lets see ...... an 8, 6,4,3,2,18 mo., and 9 mo. wow!!!

well that night Melia drove home with Mara, Jackson and I- on the way home all three of them fell asleep (it was 8:30) well I got all of the kids in the house , got jammies on Melia and Mara. Jackson had woke up by this point. I put the girls to bed and then proceeded to take all of the Christmas stuff down. While I was doing this Mara woke up, and helped me box up the Christmas stuff.

well, at 11:30 Jackson had fallen asleep and Mara was ready for bed too. I put them in bed and then went to shut down the house....

Melia decided to wake up:) yeah !!!

well all of the kids went to sleep an hour later and slept the rest of the night. This morning they woke up bright and early. they played barbies, put Princess dresses on, played house with Mara's Kitchen and the Rose house. they had a great time.

When Annie and Danny came to get Melia she cried:( she wanted to stay here forever.. I am sure she would have changed her mind given a little more time at my house:)

thanks Melia, Mara had a great time and was very happy to have you as her sleeping buddy:)

Thursday was Jonah's birthday-- for his birthday he wanted to go shooting with his dad.

We came with him... Mara played in the snow, Jackson and me just sat in the truck and stayed warm ( I am not a big fan of shooting, guns you name it)

Jonah and his dad, Don had a great time shooting their hand guns, shotguns, and a few other guns..

Happy Birthday huney!!! I love you.
