This year we decided to have Jackson's birthday party on his actual birthday.

It was a carnival theme, we were all so excited!!

I had these great ideas of having a bounce house, a clown, games, treats, fun carnival foods, and mostly having it OUTSIDE- since my house is not big enough to hold all of our guests.

Well Mother Nature thought it would be funny to have it snow 5-6 inches a few days before the party, I was not very happy:-(

BTW- Mother Nature was not done giving us snow, the night of the party it turned out to be a blizzard- not cool!!!

we decided to make do, I would just set up all of the games, food, decorations in the house. unfortunately, a bounce house was not going to work because although the snow had melted the grass was very very soggy, so not bounce house.

the clown that we got was GREAT!!!!- if you ever need a clown you should get her!

The party turned out great, Jackson had a great time and that is the only part that matters!

On July 14th ( Me and Jonah's anniversary) I decided that I should have my kiddos pictures taken, since I was not going to be able to see Jonah ( he was going to be at work).

So I met Zoie at Gardner Village, and this is what she captured.........

After the photo shoot the kids and I were able to have a yummy dinner with Audgy and Zak at Archibalds, YUMMY!! mostly it was great to see them:)

Jackson's 1st birthday ( part 1)

Jackson and Mara slept in, a glorious 10:15 a.m.
we ate breakfast, got dressed, then went on a walk in the wagon to the store to get a few items for LUN-ER ( lunch/dinner- Jonah had to work so we ate early:)

when we got back from our walk we made food and made a #1 cake. we had it all frosted when Jonah woke up,
we ate food then went to open presents-- Jackson wasn't really in the mood- he still had not taken a nap and it was 3:30, so he crawled over to Jonah on the couch and cuddled with him while his sweet sister opened his presents for him ( I was not happy)

well all of the sudden I heard something in the kitchen, Ria came in looking like she had just done something wrong, and boy had she!!! I walked into the kitchen to find that she had helped herself to the cake:(

Jackson fell asleep, so I decided to try to salvage my cake, ( I ended up cutting 1 inch off the whole side) don't worry I did not keep any part that even came close to her little mouth.

Jonah left for work and it was off for Mara, Jackson, and I-- we drove up to my dad's house the cousins were all there:)

So last week, when we got home from Georgia, Jackson got sick! well he started getting sick a tthe end of our stay but it really set in on Monday, Tuesday I took him in to the doctor and found out that my little boy had an ear infection, a eye infection, and a slight sinus infection. this poor little guy and his infections.....

So he has been on a new antibiotic and an eye drop. I think he is feeling a little better but he still is not back 100%

He still just wants to be held, he usually just falls asleep within the first few minutes of being held- it is quite sad. I haven't been able to get much done cause he just wakes up as soon as I put him down and then cries untilI pick him up again:(

Jackson has been on an antibiotic for over 4 months straight and has another 2-3 weeks left until we go back to the doctor.

Christmas Morning!!!

Christmas Morning Jonah and I woke up late, 8:30 we finally woke Mara and Jackson up @ 10:00, it was great!!!

this is of Mara - the first sight of what Santa has brought her and her baby brother:0) Mara kept talking about getting a blue kitchen, though this isn't blue she likes it anyway. ( it was really cheap, but she doesn't mind)

Okay so Mara got A LOT of barbies-- this is my favorite along with hers...... it is Rizzo from Grease, it is supposed to be a collectible but it is too cute to not let her play with her, and it was on clearance from $50.00 to $3.00 what a deal:0)

Jackson got a VERY VERY big Ducky from Dallin- he loves it
It was so nice to be able to all be together this holiday. Jonah was able to be home with us Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and the day after Christmas-- it was great.

I love my entire family they are my happiness, all of them.

Monday Night-Mara, Jackson and I went to Gardner Village.

then we went outside to see all of the cute little elves.

Mara and Jackson had a great time, it was a little chilly but the kiddos were all nice and toasty warm.

Definately a new tradition:0)

My Baby

So last night while I was watching Mara at Gymnastics- I looked in Jacksons little mouth and what did I find......

his first tooth broke through. the picture of it did not turn out well so I wil have to wait until you can see it better:)


My baby is getting so big.

Last Saturday night, Mara, Jackson and Myself were able to go to a wedding reception for my friend and kinda co-worker, Jamie. Jamie and Chase are the cutest couple:)

I know the bow looks a little funny but I had to do something with her AWESOME bangs or the lack there of! Jackson looked so cute!Jackson looks a little stoned in this picture but he still looks cute-- and Mara is such a cute sister, she loves her brother very very much
