This weekend is the 2009 Walk Now for Autism Utah Valley University.

our sweet friend Weston and many many other Utahns have been or will be diagnosed with autism.

Camping

two weeks ago we went out to Five Mile to go camping, we were able to go out with Bobby, Ang, and Weston. Happy and Amanda came out too.

We all had a great time, Jackson didn't really sleep all that well but I just fingure that it has something to do with new sleeping arrangments. Mara had the best time-

she made cakesShe danced- because Mara dancing EVERYWHERE she goes
she rode her dirt bike with Jonah she sat by the fire- well in this picture she is merely posing for me
she dug holes a lot too- when we asked her was she was doing she replied "I am digging a hole to China- to see Uncle Danny"- danny was in China this week

and she payed with Weston a lot!!!!

the last night ( Saturday) Jonah, Bobby, and Ang decided that they wante dto shoot targets with their BB guns- it was SO EXCITING- can you feel the enthusiasm here?

Jackson's 1st Birthday ( part 2)

Sorry for the delay....

For Jackson's Birthday Party we had a Airplane theme. the invitations were plane tickets

(sorry the picture wont load I will add it when I get home)

We had In-Flight meals ( boxed lunches), snacks and beverages.

the kids each got a travel bag with their names on them, well their nicknames- you don't want your kids walking around in the airport with their names visible to strangers.

Each of the bags had a treat ( a candy airplane), a pilot rubber ducky, and some cards to keep them busy during a flight. it was supposed to have also have had snacks that the kids got to put in there, but we were in too big a hurry to get to the 2nd part of the night.......

I think all of the kids had a fun time- ( Lilian fell asleep on the way there so Heather stayed in the car with her)

The Wedding

the wedding was nice, My dad and Wendy looked very happy. My sister Heather sang a few songs and as usual they were amazing!!!

Jackson's 1st birthday ( part 1)

Jackson and Mara slept in, a glorious 10:15 a.m.
we ate breakfast, got dressed, then went on a walk in the wagon to the store to get a few items for LUN-ER ( lunch/dinner- Jonah had to work so we ate early:)

when we got back from our walk we made food and made a #1 cake. we had it all frosted when Jonah woke up,
we ate food then went to open presents-- Jackson wasn't really in the mood- he still had not taken a nap and it was 3:30, so he crawled over to Jonah on the couch and cuddled with him while his sweet sister opened his presents for him ( I was not happy)

well all of the sudden I heard something in the kitchen, Ria came in looking like she had just done something wrong, and boy had she!!! I walked into the kitchen to find that she had helped herself to the cake:(

Jackson fell asleep, so I decided to try to salvage my cake, ( I ended up cutting 1 inch off the whole side) don't worry I did not keep any part that even came close to her little mouth.

Jonah left for work and it was off for Mara, Jackson, and I-- we drove up to my dad's house the cousins were all there:)

Queen Mara

mara found this purple table cloth ( it was from a wedding in 1995) she decided that it makes a great dress.
she was so funny -she danced around the kitchen and strutted her stuff:) she thought she was HOT STUFF!! we also added the lace tablecloth for her veil, doesn't she look pretty?
