Christmas Morning!!!

Christmas Morning Jonah and I woke up late, 8:30 we finally woke Mara and Jackson up @ 10:00, it was great!!!
here are some pictures of Christmas morning.........


this is of Mara - the first sight of what Santa has brought her and her baby brother:0) Mara kept talking about getting a blue kitchen, though this isn't blue she likes it anyway. ( it was really cheap, but she doesn't mind)

Okay so Mara got A LOT of barbies-- this is my favorite along with hers...... it is Rizzo from Grease, it is supposed to be a collectible but it is too cute to not let her play with her, and it was on clearance from $50.00 to $3.00 what a deal:0)

Mara was in heaven with all of her presents from Santa
Jackson got a VERY VERY big Ducky from Dallin- he loves it
It was so nice to be able to all be together this holiday. Jonah was able to be home with us Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and the day after Christmas-- it was great.

I love my entire family they are my happiness, all of them.

Christmas Day

My dad came over around 11:45, he brought Mara a cool indoor house, the Rose Petal Cottage-- she loves it!!!

Christmas night we went to Mary and Don's house for dinner and gifts....

Mara got a Rosetta's Pixie Hollow dress- she is Tinker Bell's friend Jackson got a bunch of neat toys

I got a shredder from my Kitchenaid-- I am so excited

Mara was starting to get a little tired of the whole day.
she is now done!!!!

T'was the Night Before Christmas...

T'was the Night before Christmas,
and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
not even a mouse
the stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicolas soon would be there.
The children were all nestled all snug in their beds
dreams of Sugar plums danced in their heads.


okay so I can't remember the rest but oh well.......



On Christmas Eve we all opened up our new jammies! Mara was quite excited about hers, Jackson didn't really care, me- I like them, cause I am the one that bought them:)Jonah- he was beyond words- not really-boys really don't care about Jammies ( his were workout pants)

I LOVE this tradition-- I am so glad that I am passing this down to my children- I love that I have done this since before I can remember-- My momwas the one that always made sure this was done, each and every Christmas as I was growing up-- thanks Momma I lvoe you and I miss you more than I can express.

Elves!!!!

Monday Night-Mara, Jackson and I went to Gardner Village.

we had yummy food at Archibald's
yummmm.... Fried Green Tomatoes


then we went outside to see all of the cute little elves.

Mara and Jackson had a great time, it was a little chilly but the kiddos were all nice and toasty warm.

Definately a new tradition:0)

So my Digital scrapbooking skills are definitely lacking, this was an attempt. I am hoping to get better so that I can something besides just dropping the pictures.

Mara woke up sick on Saturday so we were unable to have the kids pictures done by Zoie at her mini- Christmas shoot.

Update

Sorry I have been a Little busy here at work- yes, I am getting paid to "blog"

well, here goes my update.....

Last week we had the pleasure of watching Shannon's boys on Tuesday night while she and Jeff went to a holiday play. we had a lot of fun, we even had a semi- sleepover ( Shanny came and picked them up @ 11, so they just fell asleep over here)

On Wednesday night, Shannon watched my little ones while Jonah and I went out on a date for my birthday-- I am now 29 years old, next year I will be 30--ewwww no, not that ( that is meant to be saying that I do not care)

Jonah and I went to Twilight, what a nice hunny I have to go to it with me. I was afraid he was going to be making fun of it the whole time but he suprisingly didn't mind it and actually liked it. Although he did say that if the movie had gone on 10 more minutes that he was going to grow " a female organ" he was a good sport:0)

On Saturady we( Jonah) put the Christmas Lights up on the house, then we ( Mara, Jackson and I) picked up a christmas tree, after Jonah left for work we put the lights up on the tree and decorated it ( well Mara decorated the tree, she did quite well) then we moved on the the rest of the house-
very exciting

Okay so besides that our lives are pretty boring...

the two of them LOVE to snuggle and fall asleep with each other- they are great friendseven Jackson fell asleep

Mara designed this great outfit one night, equipped with a fake gun ( I hate toy guns), a "cowgirl" hat, and a belt and holster ( jonah's belt, the big loop is supposed to be the holster)

she was quite proud of herself

this is what Mara and Ria like to do lately, they wrestle-- this is Mara "pinning" Ria- she is quite good at it and very fast

( Ria doesn't just let her do it, she puts on a good fight, don't worry it never gets to out of hand)

this is a picture of my sweet like boy, he got something in his eye:( and was rubbing it all night- poor baby- this was right after he finished a bottle - notice the milk on his chin----

Christmas Mini - Session

I can't wait! I am going to have my kiddos pictures taken for Christmas.

Although I just had them done, two weeks ago, I am going to have more pictures done:)

I am going to use them for Christmas Cards :)
