Baby Bear

On Saturday Mara got to have a real treat!!! Jonah, His parents, Myself and Miss Mara went down to Sportsman's Warehouse, where Mara was able to hold a real baby bear. the bear was so cute and so fluffy. She felt like a little puppy, with very very long nails.

we were not the only ones that wanted to have this experience for our little one, the line was long- we waited for an hour and 15 minutes, well worth it. AS we got up toward the front we could see the handler, being nibbled on by the bear cub, she was sucking on the handlers chin and cheek, just like a real baby does:)

Mara was so excited, when it was her turn she walked up to the chair sat down and started rubbing her hands together( she was that excited) they then placed the bear in her lap. She got her picture taken. see below:)

This company that has the bear cubs is called Yellowstone Bear World, they are located in Rexburg ID. there was a fee for the pictures, it was $15.00, but the $ goes to pay for food for all of the bears throughout the summer. They have 43 bears that are about to wake up from Hibernation in the next few weeks. Jonah and I want to go up there sometime and get to see all of the bears and other wildlife.

If anyone else is interested in going to see these little guys, they will be back at Sportman's Warehouse this weekend March 14-15. Saturday they open at 10 but I would suggest going a little early as line gets long fast. ( also having more than one person with the kids is always a good idea, then the lids do not have to wait in line the whole time)
