A Saturday Swim!!!!

Saturday night we got to play with the Ballard boys at our house, we had a lot of fun!!


The boys came over, they played in the back yard on the swing set for about 1/2 hour then decided that they wanted to go swimming in Mara's Princess Pool-- okay they weren't to thrilled that it was a girls pool but they had fun anyway.




After "swimming" they came inside put their Jammie's on, watched Ewok Adventures, and ate some dinner. I thought we had a great time!!!

Shanny and Jeff were able to go on a date, they watched Mara and Jackson on Thursday night when Jonah and I went on a date, we hit golf balls, very romantic :0).

On Saturday While Shannon and Jeff moved, I go to have their three cute boys. We ( me, Jonah, and Audrey) took Sammy, Gavin, Dawson, and Mara to Hollywood Connection for some fun.

Sammy was on a tiger, the only one that didn't go up and down, but it was the coolest looking one.

I think we all had a great time, sweet Dawson was a perfect angel!

Dawson ans I went on the carousel, but the pictures didn't really workwhile it was moving, here is one after the ride stopped.

The other ride that Sammy and Gavin loved was the roller coaster, I couldn't get a picture of it because the plastic glass that surrounds the coaster track was very foggy so the pictures didn't turn out, oh well.

Jonah , Me, and Gavin even played Lazer tag, Jonah won but Gavin came in at a close second:) they ganged up on me!!

I just couldn't resist putting these pictures on, Mara is such a funny and dramatic girl. When she tells you a story, she gets so excited:) Mara at school is just the same, her teachers have told me, Jonah and Aunt Shanny too.

These pictures are of Mara attempting to do her Western Days Program with the rest of her class, she did a great job! I was able to stay the rest of the day and observe her classroom and classmates, they are sooo cute.

Gavin also did a great job during his classes program, he is so cute:) I was able to see Shanny, Dawson and Janet ( Shanny's Mother -in-law) it was great to see Janet, she is a great lady.

She has one little classmate that I really feel bad for, I believe she is from India, or at least her parents are, her parents refuse to speak English at home because they feel it will take away their heritage for their children. The problem is that this little girl does not speak ANY English. She cries everyday multiple times, it is really sad. I am sure that it is very frustrating for her along with Miss Missy and Miss Andrea( Mara's teachers) She is a cute girl just very sad and lonely.

"Here comes the Sun" I wish

Today I realized that summer is gone and soon it will be winter with snow, yuck!

I do not like the cold and today is chilly. Although the sun is out it is still to cold for me.

I have my heater on in the car, I have my heater under my desk on all day long. I am too cold:(

So where I wish I was right now is in Lake Powell where it was hot and sunny.
