Baby Update

Yesterday I went into my appointment with my midwife. It was an uneventful appointment ( I like those)

I found out that this little boy is still head up, so I was informed that if he hasn't turned by my next appointment, April 3rd, then I will have to have him manually turned, yuck!!!! Even if she does have to turn him manually he still could turn breach again, then I would have to have him turned when I am in labor or have to have a c-section. so hopefully this little one with do it himself and stay head down :o)

I am still measuring at 33 weeks so I my belly hasn't changed from my last appointment 2 weeks ago ( I was measuring 1 week ahead) Tomorrow I will be 34 weeks.


My next appointment, ( 36 weeks) I get to start going in every week until I have this little one.

I am getting excited. I am nervous but not for normal reasons.

I have decided that this little one just likes to scare me already, because he hasn't stopped wiggling since my last appointment, apparently he was just having a shy week-- see prior post

stress, worry, and more stress

Yesterday I went to my appointment

I have been a little stressed for multiple reasons but being stressed for me is not a good thing.

my blood pressure at my appointment was 153/101-- oops.
we took my blood pressure 3 times

this little one hasn't been moving very much this week, making me a little worried and stressed

when I am stressed this little one doesn't like to move much for me, which in turn makes me even more stressed.

So because my blood pressure was so high I had to go have a NST and AFI, so I got to hear the baby and I got to see him really quick- it was great. By the end of the NST my blood pressure was back to normal 118/70.

He is still head up, his fluid level is looking great, and doing fine.

Since my appointment(s) he has been wiggling none stop again. I really need to relax and stop stressing so much.

Braxton Hicks!!!!

this passed weekend I started getting Braxton Hicks, I do not remember getting them with Mara until the last few weeks ( like a week or two) It is definitely different this time.

Today, I have been having A LOT of contractions- mostly in my lower back but also in my lower abdomen, sharp shooting pains-- is this normal?

This little boy isn't really kicking and punching anymore, though he does throw in a few jabs here and there. Now he is just stretching and stretching some more.

Yesterday he decided that in rib would be a great place to take up residency-- not very comfy for me, but I still love the feeling of having this little one in here.

I have my appointment tomorrow I guess I will just ask about these lovely pains I am feeling. Tomorrow I will be 31 weeks 5 days , not much longer now:(

the bedroom

Unfortunately Mara will have to share her room with her little brother, but as of right now she is very excited about the new roommate.

This poor room is very FULL

For Mara's Birthday she got a big girl bed and new bedding, so with bringing this little one home to Mara's room I had to come up with something for him that would go with Mara's stuff- that wasn't so girly. this is what I came up with.........

I have finished the baby stuff, I just need to work on a couple painting projects on the walls ( let see how I do)

Mara's Bed
( the yellow has bee's on it) this is the same rocking chair I had with Mara but I changed the coverings, I also added the ottoman ( I got a great deal on it, it was normally $70 but I found it at Shopko for $13.99- I love Shopko)
Mara's boxes ( 1st one has big lego blocks in it and the 2nd has her dress ups)
the baby bedding ( yellow- bee's, see I matched Mara's bedding)
Mara has helped me do all of the bedding
We even did a mobile ( I didn't want to pay $50.00 for one, so I reused parts and added the bee's)

the changing table full to the brim( I recovered the changing pad)
the view when you walk by the room( very very full)

my appointment

Today I went to my appointment, it was uneventful as usual ( I like uneventful) I got to feel this little boy wiggle and squirm. I love it!!!!!

I am measuring a bit bigger than I am supposed to be, but it isn't too bad. I am measuring at 31 weeks and I am not quite 30 weeks yet (Saturday I will be)

So my midwife is guessing that he will not be a small baby but a 8lb 8-9 oz little bundle of boy/joy:0)
I am hoping that having a 8 lb 4 oz little girl will have paved the way for this little one.

This pregnancy is definitely different than when I was pregnant with Mara, I am carrying much lower, he is not as "tucked in" as Mara was, he is out there therefore so is my belly:) I get to have my sweet Mara pregnant with me, (she thinks she is having babies too)Mara is my little lady, she talks to the baby every night, multiple times. She is loving it-- hopefully that doesn't change once he is here.

I definitely LOVE being pregnant.

I will be sad when I have had him, for this will be our last little one that we will have naturally, we still plan to adopt in a few years.

If I could be pregnant constantly I would, I love it that much.

Jonah and I have had fun trying to come up with a name for this little one in my belly.

Jonah thought up some of the worst names POSSIBLE!!!!!!

Pheonix (it is different, Jonah hates it)
Issac ( my paternal Great Grandpa)
Jackson ( this is the name that we wanted to name Mara before we knew she was a girl)

we both agreed on a few names most mostly we ( me) said no to alot of them!!!

Well we thought we had agreed on a name but I am still unsure.

So please let me know if anyone has any suggestions, I would love the help!!
