Sand Hollow State Park

April 8th we drove down to St. George with Jonah's mom and dad to Sand Hollow to camp. we had a great time, it was warm and sunny- i loved it!!!!!!

this is on the drive down

Jackson playing in the sand was almost constant- he was loving the sand

playing in the water, the water was a bit cold but Mara didn't mind.

doesn't this picture look cool, the picture is turned sideways- i love it!
it looks like he is really rock climbing
Mara has turned into sucha poser, she is growing up soooooo fast!!

Jackson exploring
Ria and Cuda

playing with chalkMara finally figured out how to ride her bike!!!!

Jackson is OBSESSED with golf, whenever he sees golfclubs and a ball he "practices" he is actually pretty good, he can swing the clubs and hit the ball. Each morning we went down to the beach and let the dogs play in the water, Cuda was in heaven she LOVES water! Thursday night, Don (Jonah's dad) and Mara went out looking for a lizard and this is what they came back with.

a cool Horned Toad

Jonah and Mara decided that they needed to see what they could find. Jonah caught a lizard and the poor things tail fell off:-(
the lizard, Mara thought it was so cool Jackson would walk around all day with a drink, just sipping it. he is so cute!!
After we got back from playing in the water they both Crashed!

Jackson was such a sweetheart during our trip, well until Saturday night...... he got SICK
Sunday morning starting @ 1:30 a.m. Jackson started throwing up, every 40 minutes until 6:30 a.m.
he couldn't hold anything down until Tuesday, only with the help from the doctor and anti vomiting medication. poor guy!
we are so glad that he got feeling better, cause our next trip was just around the corner.
stay tuned.......

Looks like you had a wonderful time! If Jackson likes sand, then you should definitely let your family go to Powell with the fam this summer, it's one giant sandbox!

I am glad Jackson kept the illness to himself and that you were able to enjoy your trip.
